Ans: I have always wanted to learn Sanskrit as it’s the mother of all languages and language of the Gods. My parents discouraged me to take up sanskrit as they thought it was difficult!
Also I wanted to learn it as I have learnt German and Max Müeller learnt Sanskrit and translated our scriptures into German. Now I want to understand the Bhaktamar Stotra and so I want to learn Sanskrit. I would love to teach it to others one day!
Q. What benefits did you see in doing this course?
Ans: The first thing that comes to mind is that I love the idea of formally going back to school. Studying grammar of a language and soon being able to read, write and speak Sanskrit! Also I feel I follow a daily routine of sitting for the class and studying it as if we are in a Gurukul, starting with prayers and trying to understand the nuances of the language. There’s a sense of routine for the class and yet there’s something new happening in class everyday!
Q. Is the course Fun and Easy for you to Learn?
Ans: It’s a lot of fun and very easy to learn! I don’t feel pressured at all to learn which makes like easy. There’s no stress if I can’t remember something or can’t understand something. I think I am loving it because it’s made very easy and it’s fun!
Q. Do you get personal attention in this group class? Are all your questions answered?
Ans: Yes everyone gets personal attention and I feel I get it too! Yes all my questions are answered. If they are not answered in that particular class it surely comes up soon and then my question is answered!
Q. What did you like the most in the past few days about this course?
Ans: I love everything about the class but I like stress free learning. Learning like a 3 year old. Brings out the child in me and arouses my curiosity. And then I want to know more. I can ask as many questions as I want and not get stubbed! Love that!

Ans: I love the structure of the class. I really feel like it’s a Gurukul. We are students (Shishyas)all all ages and yet we are all treated the same with as much respect and with as much love and understanding! The idea of its methodology based on deeper learning is certainly very exciting. I am always looking forward to what’s coming next! And for a change a class where we don’t just stick to the grammar, spelling and reading but understanding the history, geography and everything about the language. That kind of learning helps to widen my perspective, making Sanskrit not just a language but base for further learning!

Ans: I love the art based method of learning as the pictorial always stays in the mind. I might miss or forget words but I will remember the pictures!

Ans: I think it’s very good to have a mixed age group! The kids are quick and learn so fast and that’s stimulating. I love the energy that they have and create a fun atmosphere! They are straight forward and honest!

Ans: I love my Sanskrit class and love the way Anjali teaches us. She makes a difficult language so easy to learn. The tactile experience is very special and she is doing such a great job of teaching us through art and stories! There’s a lot of laughter and fun time. I love it that I am learning at my speed and am not labelled as slow or can’t understand types. I can ask a question as many times as I want till I get it clear. And even if in today’s class it’s clear I might ask about it again tomorrow and she will answer it as patiently! There’s no pushing to learn. She has created an atmosphere for learning! Thanks Anjali for teaching me this ancient language of the Gods!

Answer: Excellent Anjali mam was very helpful . She is one stop if you want to shine speaking Hindi. She’s very well knowledgeable about the subject and has really good patience.

What is the duration of every class?
The duration of every class is 60 minutes. The duration of classes is designed to allow deep and effective learning of the particular topic being taught. The duration may increase incase participants have more questions on that topic.
How many classes are conducted per week?
2-3 classes are held per week. The exact dates are decided prior to the commencement of the course.
Do we get any notes as a part of the course?
Most of the courses use online material which is sent to you in advance so that they can read them or print them and keep them ready before the class if required.
Books and games as an when/if required are informed to the participants/parents. For International participants the book are decided based availability.
Do you conduct group courses?
Yes, if required. We tend to keep the group size short, but it may vary from 2-300 participants depending upon it’s duration and who is organizing it.
